I. Product Introduction

The GC200 Bluetooth-compatible Base Station is an integrated gateway device that combines Bluetooth-compatible and Ethernet functionalities. The GC200 connects to the internet via an Ethernet port, allowing it to monitor Bluetooth-compatible devices and beacons (Beacon) within its range. The gathered information is transmitted to a server or IoT cloud platform through Ethernet using UDP or TCP/IP, enabling remote intelligent management.

The product features a classic square design with a simple and elegant appearance. Its casing includes waterproof design elements, and it can be installed using a pole mounting kit or a universal wheel rotating wall mount, making it suitable for complex environment applications.

II. Working Principle

The GC200 is a gateway device that integrates Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The Bluetooth module scans for devices and collects data, which the Wi-Fi module then uploads to a server via the network. Specifically, the Bluetooth module scans for iBeacon devices within its signal coverage range and collects data from these devices. This data is then transmitted through the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi serial port to the network, and subsequently submitted to the server, where it is displayed and managed.

Data from Bluetooth-compatible devices is transmitted to the server via Ethernet through the serial port between Bluetooth-compatible and Ethernet, and server data is transmitted to Bluetooth-compatible devices.
